Kelly Clarkson Plans New Album for Next Year

In a recent interview with Q100, the first American Idol winner spoke of her plans to release her fifth album by the fourth quarter of 2010. Here's what she said:

“We’re already working on it but it’s probably not going to hit until, like, the fourth quarter of next year — around Christmas next year…There’s still some like singer/songwriter stuff [on the album], but there’s … I don’t know. It’s almost like Garbage-meets-pop-meets-Muse. It’s a little different…I don’t know how it’s going to end up. Who knows?” Kelly Clarkson said. “It always ends up being something completely different.”
