Lindsay Lohan on Vanity Fair

Lindsay Lohan appears on the September 2010 cover of Vanity Fair magazine. Check it out above!

On her career:
"I want my career back. I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night, then so be it. It's not fun anyway.

On her past:
I don't care what anyone says. I know that I'm a damn good actress. … And I know that in my past I was young and irresponsible-but that's what growing up is. You learn from your mistakes.

On rumors that she's an alcoholic:
"If I were the alcoholic everyone says I am, then putting a [SCRAM] bracelet on would have ended me up in detox, in the emergency room, because I would have had to come down from all the things that people say I'm taking and my father says I'm taking-so that says something, because I was fine. I think everyone has their own addictions and hopefully learns how to get past them"

On her father:
"I think my biggest focus for myself is learning how to continue to get through the trauma that my father has caused in my life."

On her alleged drug use:
"I've never abused prescription drugs. I never have-never in my life. I have no desire to. That's not who I am. I've admitted to the things that I've done-to, you know, dabbling in certain things and trying things ’cause I was young and curious and thought it was like, O.K., ’cause other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me. And I see what happened in my life because of it."

On the courtroom drama:
It was "hearbreaking" see Ali cry. "The worst part of it is you turn around and you see your dad crying and normally you’d be, like, happy that your father’s there. But then he has to go and do an interview right after."

On hanging out with the wrong crowd:
“So many people around me would say they cared for the wrong reasons. A lot of people were pulling from me, taking from me and not giving. I had a lot of people that were there for me for, you know, the party.”

On first moving to El Lay:
"It was very go-go-go and I had a lot of responsibility; and I think just the second I didn’t have [structure] anymore—I was 18, 19—with a ton of money and no one really here to tell me that I couldn’t do certain things … And I see where that’s gotten me now, and I don’t like it.” The tabloids were “really scary and sad… I would look up to those girls… the Britneys and whatever. And I would be like, I want to be like that.”

Jennifer Lopez New Single Preview

This sounds mediocre, at best. Take a listen above to "Good Hit", the rumored new single by Jennifer Lopez. Not impressed.

It's Official! Toy Story 3 Passes the $1 Billion Mark

It’s always heartwarming to hear that a giant corporation who released an established property successfully recouped on its investment, but you may want to grab some tissues for the news that Disney’s Toy Story 3 has just passed the $1 billion mark, which should absolutely melt your insides. That makes it the only animated film and only the seventh film overall to to achieve that milestone. Even more impressive: This is Disney’s second $1 billion-grossing film after Alice In Wonderland, making it the first-ever studio to get two in one year—and all it took was charging inflated 3-D ticket prices. Something tells us that, somewhere, James Cameron just made a derisive snorting noise.

New Rihanna Album Gets a Release Date

This girl wastes no time from album to album. In five years, she's about to release her fifth record! Heck, Christina Aguilera just released her fourth album and she's been around for twelve years.

Rihanna's yet to be titled fifth studio album will release on November 2, almost a year after the release of Rated R on November 23, 2009.

Rihanna shot the cover art for the new album on August 26 in the Hamptons, NY.

It has been reported that the first song from the album, titled "Only Girl", is set to premiere on August 31.

Toy Story 3 to Cross $1 Billion Box Office Mark!

Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 3 is the gift that just keeps on giving at the box office.

The animated movie sequel, which ranks seventh among all-time worldwide grossing films, is expected to cross the $1 billion mark on Friday, according to the studio, making Disney the first company to field two $1 billion blockbusters in the same year

Earlier this year, Disney's Alice in Wonderland, also crossed that line and currently stands in fifth place in the all-time worldwide rankings with $1.024 billion.

Disney has one other previous movie in the $1 billion club: 2006's "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," which ranks fourth with $1.066 billion.

Amazing!

Eminem will likely relinquish the No. 1 position next week to Katy Perry's new Teenage Dream. Beleaguered former "American Idol" champ Fantasia is seeking a big week too. Her third set, Back to Me, is on track for a sturdy No. 2 debut with a number in the range of 150,000 to 175,000. - HitsDailyDouble

Kardashians Season Premiere = Ratings Gold

The 5th season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians brought in 4.7 million viewers on Sunday night!

Who knew so many people were interested in these girls?

Fantasia Speaks About Her Suicide Attempt

'American Idol' winner Fantasia Barrino was hospitalized on Aug. 10, due to an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid. Contrary to various sources questioning whether there was foul play, it's now being reported that the 26-year-old singer's overdose was intentional.

In an excerpt from her forthcoming VH1 'Behind the Music' interview, the eight-time Grammy Award nominee revealed that the scrutiny surrounding her pending sex tape scandal had forced her into exile and ultimately toward suicide.

"I didn't have any fight in me. I didn't care about anything. I just wanted out," Barrino admitted during the interview, which premieres Aug. 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. "At that moment, I wanted out. I wanted it to be over with – all of it, all of that [expletive]."

See clip of Fantasia Barrino's 'Behind The Music' below.

"I just sat in the closet and looked at the mirror and took all the pills in the bottle," the 'Fantasia for Real' actress described of the night she overdosed. "I wanted to go to sleep and just be at peace. I knew exactly what I was doing. You can't accidentally take a whole bottle of pills."

Miraculously, the singer's near-fatal experience has given her enough strength and "motivation" to continue her career and promote her latest album, 'Back to Me,' which, coincidentally, is being released the same day as the premiere of her VH1 special.

Following her release from a North Carolina hospital on Aug. 12, Barrino released a statement through her record label, J Records, thanking fans for their prayers and support

"I can't thank my fans enough for their prayers and support during such a challenging time," adding, "It has given me the motivation to get back to work. ...I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this album, and I pray that everyone enjoys it as much as I do."

- So sad. :(

A Second Glee Episode for Britney Spears?

Just days after Britney Spears stopped by the Glee set to film her cameo for Season 2, there already appears to be talk of her returning to McKinley High.

On Saturday, at the Creative Arts Emmys in Los Angeles, Access Hollywood asked co-creator Ryan Murphy if fans can expect to see even more of the “Circus” singer, and Ryan suggested it is likely.

“Probably, yeah… probably,” he said.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Britney hit the “Glee” set earlier in the week to film her guest role, including one scene alongside the show’s own Brittany, played by Heather Morris. While on set, the pop princess spent time with Ryan, and at Saturday’s event, where “Glee” was up for several awards, he told Access what a delight it was to have her around.

“Britney came this week and shot, and I got to hang out with Britney,” Ryan said. “She was sweet, she was great.”

“I’m now best friends with Britney apparently,” Ryan added, jokingly.

Ryan, who also created “Nip/Tuck,” said he’s still surprised by the popularity of his show about a high school glee club.

“I never thought it would work at all,” he said. “I thought it was very good, and I thought the cast was great, but I thought the idea was kind of particular. I’m shocked.”

Catch the season premiere of “Glee” on September 21 at 8 PM on FOX, and the Britney episode on Sept. 28.

Chelsea Handler Wants to Reunite West and Swift

Chelsea Handler promised fireworks when she hosts MTV's Sept. 12 VMA Awards, but who knew she would light the fuse so quickly?

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his KISS-FM radio show Thursday, Handler previewed her emceeing technique and said she hoped to reunite two strange bedfellows: Kanye West and Taylor Swift.

Last year, West interrupted Swift's big acceptance speech – in a moment that was buzzed about long after.

"I'd like to get them together," Handler, 35, told Seacrest. "We've never really seen them together since then. They were supposed to be together on SNL, but then that didn't end up happening."

Last year, Swift had no sooner won the best female video award when she was cut off during her acceptance speech by the rapper, who grabbed her microphone and announced that fellow nominee Beyoncé had "one of the greatest videos of all time," in for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)." West later apologized. Profusely.

As Swift recalled after the big moment, "I was standing on stage and I was really excited because I'd just won the award and then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn't excited anymore after that."

Suggested Handler: "We'll try to think of something clever to do with them, because that would be really fun."

Linkin Park's "The Catalyst" Video Premieres Soon

Linkin Park’s official site reports that the new music video for “The Catalyst” will premiere on August 26th. You can watch it online at MTV.com and VH1.com beginning at 12:00am EST that morning. Also look for it on MTV, VH1 and MTV2 at 8:00pm PST/EST that night.

The video of ‘The Catalyst’ was directed by Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn.

“Joe likes to create things visually, likes to go for something big,” LP bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell told MTV News. “So the look of it is very different. There’s a lot of energy in it, and for me, that’s what makes for a good video. It adds something to the song, and that’s what makes me like this particular video even more.”

“When coming up with the idea of the visual piece to accompany the song, I thought of the end,” Hahn says. “What would it look like and feel like if someone pushed the button to decide our fate? What would it feel like if we accepted our fate in the moment of devastation? If we had a final moment to celebrate our final living moments, how would that feel? When J. Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb, described the first test detonation of the atomic bomb, he famously recalled the Bhagavad Ghita, which says, ‘If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one.’”

Shania Twain Added to List of Potential Idol Judges

The Boston Herald is reporting that Shania Twain may be the newest judge on American Idol.

“They’ve been after her ever since she was a mentor on the show last season,” a source told People.com yesterday. “And they haven’t given up… Shania’s a huge fan of the show, and she had a great time as a mentor.”

And then there’s Mariah Carey, whose husband Nick Cannon, host of America’s Got Talent, reports has her eyes set on the judges’ table.

“She talks about it,” Cannon told the Hollywood Reporter . “She says ‘I would love to do that.’ She is one of the greatest singers of our time; she would be great.”

Idol may also be getting Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, who has been telling everyone – except his bandmates – he’s got the gig sitting next to Randy Jackson .

When asked by a New York Post reporter if he could be tough on a young singer, Tylersaid: “I’m very judgmental of the guys in the band. I know when to say ‘Don’t bore us – get to the chorus!’ and I think I’d bring credibility to that forum if I was asked to do it.”
