Lady GaGa & Beyoncé on the Set for "Telephone"

Judging by these pictures, it's going to be quite the crazy music video. But then again, it's a GaGa music video, it must be over-the-top. Which is a good thing. Here are Lady GaGa and Beyoncé on the set of the music video shoot for their single "Telephone". The music video is set to premiere by mid-February.

Beyoncé- New Fragrance Official Commercial

This is kinda sexual. Check out the official minute-long commercial for Beyoncé's first fragrance Heat. On fire alright.

Timbaland and Justin Timberlake Live

It doesn't sound as good live as it does on the radio, ha, but check out this performance of Timbaland and Justin Timberlake of their current hit "Carry Out". I can't get enough of this song. The studio version that is.

Ke$ha on the Set of "Blah Blah Blah"

Amanda Seyfried- "Little House" From Dear John

Jordin Sparks Covers Christina Aguilera

Jordin Sparks has nothing better to do since her album failed to even sell over 200,000 copies. Check her out singing a cover of Christina Aguilera's "Save Me From Myself". I have to say though, great cover. Jordin's got a killer voice. Enjoy!

P!nk Gives Her Grammy Award Predictions

Record of the Year
Nominees: Beyoncé's "Halo," Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling," Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody," Lady Gaga's "Poker Face," Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me"

I want to pick Kings of Leon because I've been in Australia and they're the one band that beat me out of the Number One spot there. And that's my country! But I like their story. Like with me, when "Who Knew" came out it got played, I think, 12 times in America and then was dropped from every station. And then it came out again a year and a half later and went to Number One, which I think is hilarious. I think that "Use Somebody" has sort of the same story — it kind of floated around the rest of the world for months and months and then just blew up here, way after the fact.

Album of the Year
Nominees: Beyoncé's I Am ... Sasha Fierce, Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D., Lady Gaga's The Fame, Dave Matthews Band's Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, Taylor Swift's Fearless

I think I'd have to go with Lady Gaga because she really, really just took over this year. She was everywhere. She?s fearless when it comes to fashion and videos and I think a lot of other people play it really safe. I think she's been a total breath of fresh air. I love her videos. In some ways I think she's the most interesting without seeming to try to hard since Madonna. I think I'm able to like her because I don't see any of myself in her. And for awhile, I think, after Missundaztood came out, it was like, "Oh, everybody wants to be a rock star now." But with her, I don't know, I think she's marching to the beat of her own drum. And I really, really like that.

Beyoncé On Set for New Super Bow Commercial

Check out this video for Beyoncé on the set for the shoot of her Vizio Commercial which will be airing during the upcoming Super Bowl to air February 7th.

2010 Movie Preview: Toy Story 3

Release Date: June 18 (in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D)
Studio: Buena Vista
Genre: Animation
Director: Lee Unkrich
Writer: Michael Arndt
Cast: Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Michael Keaton, Whoopi Goldberg, Timothy Dalton, Wallace Shawn, Bonnie Hunt, John Ratzenberger, Laurie Metcalf, R. Lee Ermey, Jodi Benson, Jeff Garlin, Ned Beatty, Don Rickles
Studio Description: Woody, Buzz, and the rest of their toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, departs for college.
Watch the Trailer

Analysis: In the early 90s, Pixar was a struggling company that was reportedly costing then-owner Steve Jobs so much that he considered selling it at a loss. That was of course before Disney released Pixar's first full-length feature, Toy Story, in November 1995. Toy Story went on to gross $191.8 million, in the process making Pixar a household name (further cemented by A Bug's Life in 1998). The sequel hit theaters four years later, improving on the original with a $245.9 million take.

Toy Story 3 sees the return of the entire original voice cast minus Jim Varney (Slinky Dog), who passed away in 2000. Similar to the first two, the plot of Toy Story 3 covers timeless issues like the importance of friendship and family, and does so with a healthy dose of comedy and action. As a result, Toy Story 3 is likely to have the same demographic-defying appeal that other Pixar movies have had over the last 15 years.

As discussed in the Shrek Forever After preview, computer-animated sequels have progressively improved their international takes, even when domestic dipped. This trend was particularly noticeable in the Ice Age series: the second movie, Ice Age: The Meltdown grossed $460 million internationally, while the third movie, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, made $687 million. Only three years separated the Ice Age pictures, though, while Toy Story 3 comes out more than a decade after Toy Story 2, and that was a decade in which rapid globalization has occurred within the movie industry. As a result, Toy Story 3 is almost guaranteed to make significantly more overseas than its predecessors.

With its broad appeal and the strength of the Toy Story brand, Toy Story 3 should open strongly and should have no problem being the ninth consecutive Pixar pictures to reach $200 million and beyond. Add in the higher 3D ticket prices, and it may even be able challenge Finding Nemo for highest grossing Pixar movie of all time.

Carrie Underwood to Sing at the Super Bowl

Carrie Underwood is going to the Super Bowl—and she’ll be singing the national anthem. The country superstar won’t be alone in singing America’s praises. Queen Latifah will perform “America the Beautiful” as well.

Underwood joins other big names who have sung the national anthem at the game, including Beyoncé, Billy Joel and Whitney Houston. The Feb. 7 Super Bowl in Miami pits the Indianapolis Colts against the New Orleans Saints. The Who will provide halftime entertainment. The Super Bowl will be shown live on CBS.

P!nk Thinks of Beyoncé as a "Stupid Girl"?

On a recent concert, P!nk included in her choreography during a performance of her single "Stupid Girls" a few steps from Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" routine. I think the message is pretty clear. Does P!nk think of Beyoncé as a 'Stupid Girl'? Check out the clip above, the dancing starts at 0:32.

Lady Antebellum Live at Ellen DeGeneres

Lady Antebellum performed the song "American Honey" live at the Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote their album Need You Now in stores now. But as I said earlier, they don't need to worry as the album is headed straight for #1. Enjoy!

Lady Antebellum Heading for a Big Debut

this should heat things up a bit in the selling records biz.

With the Grammy telecast this Sunday, Capitol Nashville’s Lady Antebellum, up for a pair of awards after garnering a Best New Artist nomination last year, will bow at #1 on next week’s HITS Album sales chart with Need You Now. Right now that total looks to be between 375-400k, which, in a word, is HUGE for the country trio featuring Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, whose debut album cracked the mainstream sales chart, the first to do so since Dixie Chicks in 2007.

The Hope for Haiti Now album continues to sell through and should remain #2, with a second-week total heading toward 150k.

Ugly Betty Cancelled

This is about as ugly as it gets, folks.

ABC has just informed Ugly Betty producers that the show’s current fourth season will be its last. What’s more, the network has trimmed the show’s episode order from 22 to 20.

Although not a complete shock given the show’s heinous ratings, the news is nonetheless a total bummer — particularly in light of Betty’s creative resurgence this season.

The good news is that ABC has given Betty’s bosses enough time to craft a satisfying series finale. Exec producer Silvio Horta and ABC president Steve McPherson confirmed as much in this joint statement: “We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty’s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion. We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell.”

But back to the bad news: Betty is about to hang up her poncho for good.

Thanks Gary.

Avatar Is The Highest-Grossing Movie of All Time

Once again, James Cameron is king of the world. Barely six weeks into its theatrical run, Cameron’s sci-fi opus, Avatar, has officially been crowned the world’s all-time highest-grossing film. According to Paul Dergarabedian, President of Box Office at Hollywood.com, the 3-D epic claimed the top honor sometime yesterday afternoon, when it surpassed the $1.843 billion global gross of another Cameron blockbuster, 1997’s Titanic. Avatar still has some work to do before it can claim stateside honors, however, as its domestic gross still lags about $46 million behind Titanic’s record $600 million tally. Avatar now sits at $1.859 billion.

Avatar’s stunning achievement comes with the usual set of caveats, of course. Higher ticket prices, especially for 3-D and IMAX showings.

Lady GaGa's Airplay Record Broken... by Ke$ha

A week after Lady Gaga set a milestone mark on Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay chart, Ke$ha rewrites the record.

Last week, Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" made chart history for logging the most weekly plays in the 17-year archives of the tally, as the cut registered 10,859 plays in the tracking week of Jan. 11-17, according to Nielsen BDS.

This week, Ke$ha's debut RCA Music Group smash "TiK ToK" claims both the summit from "Bad Romance" - the tracks swap places at Nos. 1 and 2 - and establishes a new weekly plays highpoint, totaling 11,224 detections in the tracking week of Jan. 18-24.

Here is an updated look at the titles that have notched the highest weekly plays totals on Pop Songs:

Highest Weekly Plays Total, Song, Artist (Year)
11,224, "TiK ToK," Ke$ha (2010)
10,859, "Bad Romance," Lady Gaga (2010)
10,665, "Bleeding Love," Leona Lewis (2008)
10,495, "So What," Pink (2008)
10,394, "Apologize," Timbaland featuring OneRepublic (2007)

"TiK ToK" has spent the past five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, which, along with Pop Songs and all Billboard airplay and sales surveys, will be refreshed with new data on Billboard.com Thursday (Jan. 28).

Two weeks ago, Ke$ha became just the 12th woman to send her debut single and album to No. 1 on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200, respectively, when her introductory set "Animal" arrived atop the latter list. - Billboard.com

Jessica Simpson Spills Details on Her New Show

On The Price of Beauty starting In March on VH1, you can catch singer/actress/personality Jessica Simpson as she travels the world with sidekick/pal CaCee Cobb and noted hairdo guru Ken Paves talking with women in India, France, Thailand, Japan, Uganda, Morocco, and Brazil about their sometimes bizarre beauty rituals and customs, fashion picks and weird diets all while offering to help better their lives.

Through Operation Smile, one of Jessica's fave charities, the show even gave a young girl in Mumbai, India a chance to repair a facial deformity (cleft lip and palate).

What have you learned about beauty from going around the world and interviewing women?

Jessica: I think going all around the world and seeing all of these incredibly courageous women, it really inspired all of us to find the best within ourselves.

And I feel like I walk around with so much more pride in who I am as a woman, as a person. And I got to do it with my best friends, and I think we all just discovered so much about what life really, really is and what beauty actually means.

Has the girl in India changed your view on reconstructive surgery? Isn't there a difference between women who don't have a deformity and elect to do it and a girl who really needs it?

Jessica: I am not against reconstructive surgery if it is for a woman to have more confidence. If that's what it's for, if that's truly the reason, I think that I would support it.

Giving this little East Indian girl a smile arms her with courage to face the world and fulfill her potential wouldn't you say?

Jessica: Yeah, absolutely. And, you know, that was just one part of the show. I mean, we learn a lot about surgery in Brazil. It's definitely the largest place for plastic surgery. I think one incredible thing that we all fell in love with was all the different religions and just learning more about the Muslims and Hindus and the Buddhists and how they define beauty.

So I think you'll see a lot of that throughout the show as well. There's lots of laughter. There's a lot of tears. But, I think you'll definitely see friendship and beautiful women.

Do you follow up with Mena who had the cleft palate? How is she doing, and is that a big part of the show, following up on women you have covered?

Jessica: Absolutely. Mena is here in the United States right now going through more surgery. She had a cleft lip and a cleft palate. So there were more surgeries that needed to be done, and she's also getting some dental work done, and she'll be here for probably another six weeks.

Carrie Underwood Talks About Acting in HIMYM

Carrie Underwood is revealing how she met the cast of How I Met Your Mother. In a blog post on her Web site, the country star talked about her upcoming acting debut.

“I got to hang out with the whole cast, dress up like a flight attendant, play a cavewoman and had a baby pig poop on me…that’s right…jealous?” she wrote Friday. “I’m just glad I grew up on a farm because I think I was the only one who knew how to hold and wasn’t afraid of a little piglet!”

Underwood, 26, said the cast and crew on the L.A. set “made me feel right at home and were super patient and great with me and my lack of experience!”

The singer, who plays an enigmatic pharmaceutical sales rep and love interest for Ted (played by Josh Radnor), will appear in an episode set to air in March. “I’m giving up the music business and I’m going to become a professional sitcom actress!” she wrote. “Just kidding, of course, but I did have a blast while I was there!” - People.com

Hope For Haiti Now Album Breaking Records

Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief is breaking all sorts of records.

Friday night’s telethon raised more than $58 million as of Saturday afternoon, a new mark for donations made by the general public through a disaster-relief telethon. The results include all donations made by phone, online and mobile, but does not include those made by corporations and large private donors.

It also doesn’t include iTunes sales figures for the Hope for Haiti Now album, which logged the biggest one-day album pre-order in the Apple site’s history.

Currently, the release is the #1 iTunes album in 18 countries. The studio version of “Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour),” the original track performed by Jay-Z, Bono, the Edge and Rihanna, is the #1 iTunes song in 12 countries.

Based on these figures, Hope for Haiti Now will go head-to-head with Susan Boyle for #1 on next week’s sales chart, with both albums probably in the 80-85k range. It would be the first-ever album to go #1 based solely on digital sales, mostly from iTunes, but also from Amazon.

Among the individual tracks, the best-seller is Justin Timberlake, Matt Morris and Charlie Sexton's version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," followed by Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock and Keith Urban's "Lean on Me".

Ryan Tedder on Leona Lewis' Sophomore Failure

Ryan Tedder, who produced Leona Lewis' monster single "Bleeding Love" is speaking out on why he thinks her sophomore album Echo wasn't as big of a success as her debut.

'“In the US, unless you’re Justin Timberlake or Beyoncé, you cannot put out a song and not be in the country when it comes out. Leona was gone for six weeks when ‘Happy’ came out because she was promoting the record in other countries – it wasn’t her fault; she couldn’t be two places in once. I had radio stations telling me that they thought ‘Happy’ was the single biggest ballad they’d come across in ten years, but that if Leona didn’t come over here and promote it, it was going to fall. On top of that, America’s consumed with Lady GaGa and dance music right now, so it’s not the best time for ballads anyway. When everything on the radio is blasting out at 120 bpm, a song like ‘Happy’ almost sounds out-of-place."
